Artist's Description:   This is a painting that was originally completed in 2002.  However, after continually looking at it to see how I could improve it, inspiration finally came.  The painting needed more life.  To create that I added a drake wigeon and turned it's head slightly toward the viewer and move a drake mallard into the open area in the back.  More detail has also been added to the painting as a whole.   You can compare the two images as the first version of the painting is below.
