| Wild Wings Fall Festival |
 |
| The most spectacular event in Minnesota for wildlife, nature, and fine art takes place this October 4th & 5th in Lake City Minnesota. Peter participates annually in this showcase of original artwork and he will again be present at this year's festivities. The show includes poster signings, wildlife demonstrations, artist demonstrations, and local favorite foods all in the setting of nearby, beautiful Lake Pepin. The painting to the right, a 20"x30" piece titled "Ending Rain" will be one of six new originals Peter will be exhibiting. |

New Original Painting - Orcas |
| In Peter's newest painting, a mother teaches her calf to hunt amongst the kelp along the fertile shores of the Pacific Northwest. As this is a rainforest, the misty background is typical weather for the area and gives the painting a sense of place. "Orcas", an original acrylic that measures 16"x20", will also be exhibited during the Fall Festival. |

| International Guild of Realism |
 |
| Peter has been accepted into the International Guild of Realism. The guild will offer the opportunity to exhibit alongside the finest realist painters in the world through museums and galleries. There will be more information on the Mathios Studios website as it becomes available. |

Nature in Miniature |
| This November, the Elsinore Gallery in downtown Salem, OR will host a one-man show of Peter's paintings mainly focusing on his miniatures. Peter has been building a collection of very small originals for the show that range from 4"x4" up to 5"x7". There may also be some slightly larger paintings and prints available as well. The opening reception is November 1st from 3-5pm at 444 Ferry St. Come by, meet the artist, and enjoy some hors d'oeuvres. |
