This new set of coasters will
feature four of Peter's popular
waterfowl paintings and will be

condensation and minor spills right

Ending Rain 16" x
24" giclee on paper
|
Peter is excited to announce the
release of a new print titled Ending
Rain. A storm has just passed and
remaining moisture drips from
branches above creating a
mesmerizing pattern in the
reflective water. The print will be
a giclee on paper which amazingly
captures the nuances of the original
painting unlike any other printing
process. This new print will measure
16" x 24" and will be available in
mid-October for $285. This will be
an intimate limited edition totaling
195. If you would like to pre-order
a print, you can follow the link

Lamar Evening 15" x
26" acrylic
|
The Lamar Valley in Yellowstone
National Park is one of Peter's
absolute favorite places to visit in
this country. It seems to be a
throwback to the way things used be
as large numbers of bison, elk,
pronghorn, deer, wolves and
grizzlies roam free. This past
August he visited with his kids and
they too were amazed. This painting
is from that trip and on this
particular evening numerous flocks
of Canada Geese were traversing the
valley as the sun was setting. He
added the bison in the background to
help showcase the personality of
this wonderful place. |

Bugling Bull 5" x 5"
acrylic $245 (Daily
Painting)
|
Last week, Peter returned from his
second trip to the Greater
Yellowstone Basin this year. The
trees were changing color and both
national parks had a different look,
feel and sound with the bugling elk
and cooling temperatures. Peter
slept in his car, bathed in the
chilly Yellowstone River, and
followed the elk wherever they took
him. Numerous other animals and
birds were seen as well. The
reference from the trip will be used
to produce many paintings over the
next year. As usual, all new work
such as "Bugling Bull" (pictured),
will be posted immediately to the
Daily Paintings website where you
can subscribe to receive new
paintings in your inbox as they are
completed. |
