Collector's Covey Miniature Show
Misty Morning Mallards 8" x 10"
A trio of mallards drops into a foggy pothole. The thinning wisps are a sure sign the mist will soon burn off as the sun reaches for higher sky. This is mallard country and mallard weather.

"Misty Morning Mallards", an 8" x 10" original acrylic painting, will be available through the Miniatures 2008 Sale and Auction at Collectors Covey Wildlife & Sporting Art in Dallas, TX. This prestigious and long standing miniatures show will take place this Friday, November 14th and will include an auction as well. For more information, you can click on the link below, email gallery@collectorscovey.com, or call (800) 521-2403.

Nature in Miniature (ongoing)
Cedar Waxwings 5" x 5"
An exhibition of Peter's miniature paintings continues through November at the Elsinore Gallery, located at 444 Ferry Street in downtown Salem, OR. These original paintings are unique in that the majority of them are 4"x4" to 5"x7" in size. With the Christmas season right around the corner, they are a fantastic way to add to a collection or take the first step in starting a collection of one-of-a-kind original paintings.

"Cedar Waxwings" (pictured to the right) is one of the paintings available at the gallery. It features a group of waxwings that has just finished feasting on some berries and has found a treetop to roost and preen themselves. The early morning light reflects off their ornate plumage. These handsome birds always feed in flocks. Even during the breeding season, they will leave the nest to gather and feed on various berries and small fruit.

The Final Peppertree Show
Bewick's Wren 10" x 8"
The Peppertree Art Show, founded in 1976 by Irma C. Eubanks, was created as a showcase for exceptional American artwork with the purpose of sharing her passion with others who love art. This magnificent exhibition has been presented through the years with the intention of inspiring an increased interest and a deeper appreciation of the value of American art.

As a commemorative gesture signifying the closure of a legacy, the final Peppertree Art Show has been scheduled on December 6th and 7th; the exact dates when Irma Eubanks held her very first Peppertree Art Show back in 1976. Unfortunately, the property where the show is located is for sale; thereby forcing the show to come to an end after enjoying a 33 year tenure.

This is one show you don't want to miss! Anyone who has ever attended the Peppertree Art Show understands the meaning of "The Peppertree Experience." It is more than a visual show, it touches your senses. The feeling you get when viewing the incredible artwork in the unique ranch environment cannot be duplicated anywhere, and it never will.

Invitations may be obtained by visiting the shows website at the link below or by calling 805-688-6205.
