Artist's Description:  The Lamar Valley in Yellowstone National Park is one of my favorite places to visit in this country.  It seems to be a throwback to the way things used be as large numbers of bison, elk, pronghorn, deer, wolves and grizzlies roam free.  I recently visited with my kids and they too were amazed.  This painting is from that trip and on this particular evening numerous flocks of Canada Geese were traversing the valley as the sun was setting.  I addd the bison in the background to enhance the personality of this wonderful place.
