2010 Texas Non-Game Stamp
Cedar Waxwings 9"x12"
A handsome pair of cedar waxwings will grace the 2010 Texas Non-Game Stamp. Cedar waxwings are nomadic birds that flock together to feed and can clean a berry tree in one sitting. Even while nesting they are know to leave the nest to join flocks to feed. Their high pitched "seeeeeee" call helps to identify they are nearby. As with the duck stamp, proceeds from the sale of the prints and stamps will directly benefit wildlife habitat in Texas. Look for more information in the weeks and months to follow.
