Artist's Description:  It's late spring and these bison are coming in to cool off in a bog.  Their winter coat is beginning to fall off which will provide relief from the summer temperatures.  During is time of year, snow and freezing temperatures are still possible so on an unusually warm day these animals need to cool off.
