Artist's Description: The focus of this painting was to create movement in the water which in turn breathes life into the widgeon drake. To enhance the movement, I also painted this handsome duck with his beak open and whistling. Bruce Bahr of MDHA was quoted in Michigan Outdoor News as saying, "The duck just kind of jumps out at you and the water looks like it should be running out on you."
